This piece was commissioned by Paul Taylor to use in presentations about Australia.

It was performed in 2000 by the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra including Fred Taylor on base trombone.

Fred has been active as a performer, composer, and arranger with the Casper Municipal Band, the Casper College Band, and the Casper College Jazz Band.
Born in new York City in 1938, he received his B.S. in Music Education from the University of Dayton in 1964 after serving with the U.S. Army, and his M.M. in Conducting from Indiana University in 1969. He did postgraduate work at the University of Iowa. Mr. Taylor taught at the college and public school levels over a span of 22 years and was a clinician and adjudicator in ten Midwestern states.

Taylor's own compositional output includes over 500 original works, arrangements, and orchestrations. His work has been widely performed in schools and churches throughout the nation. He is published, recorded, and a member of ASCAP.
