This week I get a taste of a Jag Hill Nobby Opal. When something goes right it really goes right. This type of opal from the Jag Hill region in Lightning Ridge is some of the best out there. I explain why in the video.

When I get a piece like this, I get excited because I know there is a higher than normal chance that the rough opal will cut something nice. But a gem this nice, I didn't really expect.
