After spending five years in a cramped circus trailer, Samba and Kenya, two 14-year-old tigers rescued from a traveling Czech circus, finally arrived at Felida Big Cat Sanctuary in the Netherlands. Declawed and facing serious health issues, including a stomach tumor for Samba, they had never felt grass under their paws until now.

What followed was a long rehabilitation process, with tailored medical treatments, mental stimulation, and the space to roam freely for the first time in years. From their first hesitant steps on grass to quiet moments soaking in the sun, every small milestone marked a victory in their healing journey.
