I drove 18 hours to FISH the Bassmaster Kayak Series tournament on the upper Mississippi River in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Learn how I caught my fish on day one of the tournament!

Try the walleye cheeks at the Red Pines Bar & Grill...YES, I said walleye cheeks. Not to mention the weather in La Crosse in July is "chef's kiss" PERFECT! I did not want to come back to 100+ degree temps in Texas!
