Digital Pinball: Necronomicon - Sega Saturn - Intro & Pinball gameplay all tables [HD 1080p 60fps]

For many Saturn users Digital Pinball: Necronomicon is the best Pinball title on the system. While that's open to a lot of debate it's certainly one of the better Pinball games on the console. The follow up to Digital Pinball: Last Gladiators, Necronomicon improves on the previous game greatly. As a result Digital Pinball: Last Gladiators Ver. 9.7 was released in 1997 and uses the improved Necronomicon engine with added extras. Kaze themselves had a lot of Pinball experience by now as the Digital Pinball series really is a continuation of their Super Nintendo, Super Pinball series. They also did a few Pinball titles on the PlayStation but most of those used some form of license such as their Power Rangers Pinball game.

While it's fair to say these early Pinball games aren't as good as the modern ones like Pinball FX 2 / Zen Pinball 2 or Pinball Arcade retro console fans will get a lot of fun out of them. Digital Pinball: Necronomicon other claim to fame is the fact that John Petrucci of the band Dream Theater did some of the music for the the game. Unlike Last Gladiators, Necronomicon did not get a western release in any form and remains a Japanese exclusive to this day. This video looks at all three tables in-game Arkham, Cult of the Bloody Tongue & Dreamlands not shown in the video is realms mode, which requires you to clear all three tables in one sitting and with no extra credits.
