playing around with the next feature of Scrolla: moving the cursor manually through digits to improve compatibility with apps that don't support the macOS Accessibility well (mostly Electron) and web pages.

we always start the investigations by coding like a savage. we don't care yet about whether what we build can be "automatedly" tested in the future. all we care at first is to make the feature work. by building it this way we grab knowledge about how the structure of the app will have to be changed and refactored in order to keep it clean, fast, understandable, maintainable, and tested once we do the real implementation.
