Welcome to the Modern Pythian Games Official YouTube Channel – the only global platform for Arts, Culture, Traditional Games, Sports, and Martial Arts.
The Pythian Games are the oldest cultural games in the world, first celebrated in ancient Delphi, Greece, in honor of Apollo, the god of music, poetry, and arts. Unlike the Olympic Games of Olympia (honoring Zeus), the Pythian Games uniquely combined athletics with arts, culture, and creativity, making them the world’s first Cultural Olympics.
After remaining silent for more than 1600 years, the Games were revived in the modern era by Mr. Bijender Goel, Founder of the Modern Pythian Games and Founding Secretary General of the International Pythian Council. Today, the Modern Pythian Games carry forward this Greek legacy as the only Cultural Olympics of the world – uniting nations through arts, sports, tradition, and diplomacy.
