One of the ongoing discussion topics seems to be the advantages or disadvantages of the standard string-through or top wrap of a stop tailpiece style guitar. Why did players like Duane Allman, Jimmy Page, Billy Gibbons, Joe Bonamassa and others prefer this setup?
Having never tried it before, I take my Les Paul Special and top wrap it, and you know what? I like the way it feels...a lot.
