The latest episode in the rivalry between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen takes place at the Mexican Grand Prix, round 18 of the current Formula One season.

The Dutch Red Bull driver holds a 12 point lead over the current world champion with five races remaining.

Lewis Hamilton won the Mexican GP in 2019 - the 2020 edition was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Formula One Group CEO Stefano Domenicali joined Mexico Mayor Claudia Sheinbaum in unveiling a special plaque at a Covid-19 hospital.

"I'm feeling more more at home now with the team, with a car and I really hope I can put a great Saturday (qualification).
