Female hyenas have a higher status than male hyenas. hyenas can even show respect, humble themselves within the group, recognize their siblings, track the status of questions between hyenas, there is even a popularity competition within the hyena group. Popular individuals will get high social status. The most popular individual in the hyena group will even be elected as the leader of the group. hyenas can count up to three and use it when hunting or when an intruder enters the group. With intelligent cognitive abilities, hyenas are the most intelligent carnivores. This makes hyenas more intelligent than lions or cheetahs. the hyena is given a trial run to open a multi-access box filled with food with 4 different doors. The first door must be pushed, the second door must be moved, the fourth door must be closed and pulled, and the fourth door which is like a drawer. From the experimental results it was found that 23 hyenas could open all four doors in one try. While the rest can open all four doors in less than 10 attempts. From these experiments it was found that hyenas are very adept at exploring things. Hyenas also use the "trial and error" method in solving a problem. If the hyena fails to solve a problem, it will innovate until the problem is solved.
