Hundreds of environmental activists blocked off a main London street Sunday to protest against the dangers of pollution from cars.

While traffic was brought to a standstill, the protest group "Reclaim the Streets" held a street party in the blocked off road to demonstrate how 'street-space' should be used by city residents.

Further anti-road protests are planned throughout the summer.
