Wednesday 17th May 2023 saw the East Coast Main Line closed between Doncaster and Peterborough so I took the opportunity to pop over to Gainsborough to film some of the 125 mph stock squealing round the sharp bend at the north end of Gainsborough Lea Road station.
It certainly seemed weird seeing the normally electric Hitachi units running so slowly and on diesel power!
