Join me and my German Shepherd, Beans, for another leg of our Excellent Adventure! 🚐🐾 This time we’re exploring Cedar Bluff State Park in Kansas — where wide-open skies, fall vibes, and a little chaos make for one unforgettable week.

After an early morning drive across western Kansas, we settle into camp, battle burrs in Beans’s fur, and take in the peace of the lake. Between rain showers and cozy RV days, I cook up a ridiculously good cheesy corn recipe (loaded with bacon, ham, and BBQ flavor) and fry up some of the best chicken I’ve ever made — Kansas Fried Chicken, if you will. 🍗

Beans gets a much-needed bath, we explore the park, and I almost destroy my 360 camera on a bike ride (don’t worry, the footage survived). It’s all part of the journey as we chase new parks, new recipes, and good times on the road.
