Walking the Alleys of Sanfang Qixiang | Historical 3 Lanes and 7 Alleys | Fuzhou China

Come take a walk with me, as today I had the opportunity to visit Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, or Sanfang Qixiang. This historic heritage site is tucked away in the middle of Fuzhou, the capital of the Fujian Province here in China.

The area contains 268 historical buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, spanning 40 hectares and are very well preserved. Three Lanes and Seven Alleys is a renowned historical block, which serves as a symbol of the long established history of Fuzhou city.

Three Lanes and Seven Alleys is a platform to show the history and culture of Fuzhou City, honouring Fuzhou’s historical figures, and exhibiting traditional commerce and local art.

It is widely known as "the Museum of the buildings of the Ming and Qing Dynasty".
