Paulus van Rooijen, the Dutch champion, reached the final because he won all five previous rounds (swiss system). Michel Lamote, number one on the Belgian rating list, fought his way here via a play-off against Luc Palmans.
This match is to 5 points. The time control is bronstein system with 12 minutes in the bank and 12 seconds per move. Paulus is on the left and Michel on the right.
The tournament took place in the University Pool & Snooker, Naamsesteenweg 253 Heverlee(Leuven) in Belgium.
