Ka and Kb

Ka and Kb values give very useful information about the equilibrium of weak acids and weak bases. Understanding the meaning of Ka and Kb values is a very important skill in general chemistry. Most importantly Ka and Kb values can be related to Kw, which gives insight into the equilibrium between and acid/conjugate base pair or a base/conjugate acid pair.
