VALUING CAPABILITIES: Thanking our team in sheltered workshops

Since the early years, Secrid has been working with social development companies where 152 employees with disabilities work on the assembly of our products at three locations. For us, they are an essential link in the production process: without them, we would not be as successful. That is why we thank them in this video as part of our campaign #ValuingCapabilities.

In the Netherlands, there are still 125,000 people with disabilities looking for work. That’s a vast pool of wasted potential, as they are often the best employees for accurate assembling tasks. We need better solutions, and businesses should step up and create them. Therefore, we want to put the value of labour participation on the agenda of businesses in the manufacturing industry, politicians and other organisations involved. Will you join us?

Never before have we advertised our brand, but for an important message like this, we make an exception. Over the past few months, we have been putting our heart and soul into something special, just as our teams in the sheltered workshops put their heart and soul into working for us every day. Sinds de vroege jaren werkt Secrid samen met sociale ontwikkelingsbedrijven waar 152 medewerkers met een handicap werken aan de assemblage van onze producten op drie locaties. Voor ons zijn ze een essentiële schakel in het productieproces: zonder hen zouden we niet zo succesvol zijn. Daarom bedanken we hen in deze video als onderdeel van onze campagne #ValuingCapabilities
In Nederland zijn er nog steeds 125.000 mensen met een beperking op zoek naar werk. Dat is een enorme bron van onbenut potentieel, aangezien ze vaak de beste werknemers zijn voor nauwkeurige assemblage taken. We hebben betere oplossingen nodig, en bedrijven zouden hierin moeten bijdragen. Daarom willen we de waarde van arbeidsparticipatie op de agenda zetten van bedrijven in de maakindustrie, politici en andere betrokken organisaties. Doe je met ons mee?
Nog nooit eerder hebben we ons merk geadverteerd, maar voor een belangrijke boodschap als deze maken we een uitzondering. De afgelopen maanden hebben we ons hart en ziel gestoken in iets bijzonders, net zoals onze teams in de beschutte werkplaatsen elke dag hun hart en ziel in ons werk steken.
