Rare Giant (Black) Seabass Caught and Released in Long Beach! Bonus Rock Crab Catch and Cook.

Hey everyone, welcome back to another video! I took my boat out with Mark and Tristan in hopes of loading up the freezer for them. We started the morning catching rockfish and sculpin. When the afternoon wind picked up, we decided to try our luck drifting for halibut. Mark hooked a couple of large fish that turned out to be Giant (Black) Seabass! I was not expecting them to be in such shallow water. The one we got to the boat was quickly released to keep on growing.

After fishing I dropped them off and went back out to see if I could find some rock crab. I set up on a spot with my hoop nets and was able to score on my first set. The next evening Rachel and I made the rock crab for dinner.
