What an exciting week it has been for the sixth session of the Youth Police Academy here at the Danville Police Department. Over 30 area children are learning more about the police department and our responsibilities over the course of the three week academy. This week, they have been introduced to the many members of the Danville Police Department during a meet and greet, had drill training from the George Washington High School NJROTC, learned about finances through URW, animal care through the Danville Area Humane Society, how fingerprints cards are made, and so much more!
