Surem baino is a type of Busu that is celebrated for three or five days after hervesting in the month of January or February by Dimasa people.

In order to celebrate in the month of January or February the youth have to raise fund in advance through Jhump cultivation and baisingba. Usually Jhump cultivation is perform by young girls and boys (Naga Mala) but when it comes to gajaibao i.e head man of the surem, one or more member of each family from the village have to come and help planting paddy and other crops.
