"So far, so good, so what" foi lançado em 19 de janeiro de 1988. É o terceiro disco da banda e chegou ao número 28 do Billboard 200 e recebeu disco de platina. "In my darkest hour" é o single deste álbum e foi escrita inspirada na morte de Cliff Burton, que Dave Mustaine tocou junto na fase inicial do Metallica. Cover gravado em cima da faixa do CD com kit Adah Classic Wood, pratos Sabian e caixa Pearl Signature Vinnie Paul 14x8".

"So Far, So Good, So What" was released on January 19, 1988. It's the third album of the band and reached #28 on the Billboard 200 and was certified with platinum.
