EDGE HILL STATION (LIVERPOOL) On 17th March 1988
Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this clip is of Edge Hill taken on 17/03/1988. Just out of the other end of the tunnel at Lime Street sits Edge Hill Station, the first calling point out of Lime St. Here you could see trains approaching up the hill through the murky fume filled tunnel with AC Loco's and diesels. I hope the video takes you back to this period with fond memories.
