How to take Galaxy Photos under light pollution

Описание к видео How to take Galaxy Photos under light pollution

This time, I'm going to look at taking good images of galaxies under light pollution. Galaxies are trickier because you can't really use narrowband filters to cheat the light pollution. But through a combination of the lower cost CMOS cameras available today, short exposures, and a lot of exposures, you can get some really good results.

While I'm using a monochrome camera for this video, the same results can be done with a color camera. You may just need a different minimum subexposure time.

To learn more about short subexposure imaging from someone who really knows what they are talking about, check out this presentation from Robin Glover, the developer of SharpCap.
