My buddy Mark raises cockroaches, so I figured I would put this to the test on video with real Dubia cockroaches. Unfortunately, this particular breed of cockroach did not respond very much to this pest repeller. I can't say for sure how it works on other pests. I will update this description as I use it for other insects and rodents

Test Setup:
I have a large plastic tub that has been used for cockroach breeding in the past. In that tub I had the ultrasonic pest repeller in one corner pointing at an egg crate and on the opposite side I have another egg crate just like it. I conducted this test over 2 days. Results were checked 24 hours apart.

1st Day: There were definitely more cockroaches on the side opposite the pest repeller, so I switch the egg crate with more roaches over to the side with the pest repeller.

2nd Day: Almost all of the roaches had collected on the egg crate right in front of the pest repeller.

Conclusion: The repeller has little to no effect on this species of cockroach within my test environment.

I know my test is limited and there are many variables left unaccounted for. I apologize for this. I had really hoped though that there would be an immediate and instantaneous reaction to the pest repeller immediately after turning it on. There was no discernible reaction in my observation.

I'm sure this repeller does work good on many other types of pest. I look forward to testing it on mosquitoes over the summer. I will update this review as I collect more data.

It is a very elegant and attractive device and it functions simply and well.
