Art styles are very important to all games, perhaps especially Life Simulation games. In this video, lets consider the art styles of these Sims 4 alternatives. We look at Paralives, Life by You and Inzoi. After considering the merits of their respective styles, we will give a mark out of 10. All subjective of course.

While some may think it's irrelevant, it seems likely that successful art style can play a pivotal role in the success of a life sim game. All these games are trying to compete with the Sims 4, and so whether its the illustrated style of Paralives, the hyper realistic style of Inzoi or the classic style of Life by You, all have something to offer, but are they all good enough?
