This is the third lecture of the origin and evolution of the Earth chapter.

In the previous lectures, we have seen the early theories regarding origin of the Earth. Modern theories for origin of the universe, Big Bang theory, Hoyle's concept of steady state then star formation and finally the formation of planets.

In this lecture, we will see about th solar system and their composition, the moon and lastly the evolution of the Earth.
