2026 Kia K4 Hatchback: Versatile, Sporty, and Smart

Unveiled at the 2025 New York International Auto Show, the 2026 Kia K4 Hatchback expands on the K4 sedan’s success with a more athletic and versatile design. Built for urban living and active lifestyles, it combines a compact footprint with enhanced interior space and cargo flexibility—offering up to 59.3 cu. ft. of storage with rear seats folded.

Retaining the sedan’s bold proportions and class-leading rear legroom, the hatchback adds a floating roofline, integrated C-pillar handles, and exclusive Sparkling Yellow paint. GT-Line and GT-Line Turbo models add sporty styling cues like 18-inch alloys, gloss black trim, LED projection headlights, and a power sunroof.

Inside, a nearly 30-inch digital display anchors the tech-forward cockpit, powered by Kia’s Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC). Standard features include wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and phone charging, while available upgrades include heated seats, Harman Kardon audio, and Digital Key 2.0. The “Hey Kia” voice assistant supports climate control, navigation, and interactive features.

The base 2.0L engine produces 147 hp with an IVT, while the 1.6L turbocharged option generates 190 hp and 195 lb-ft through an 8-speed automatic. GT-Line models feature a sport-tuned suspension for sharper handling.

The K4 Hatchback also includes advanced safety and convenience tech, such as standard Smart Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, and Blind-Spot Collision Warning. Higher trims offer Highway Driving Assist 2, Evasive Steering Assist, and a Surround View Monitor.

Arriving in late 2025, the K4 Hatchback delivers compact practicality, sporty attitude, and advanced connectivity in a fresh new package.
