In the over two decades since Fire Emblem was first brought to the west in janky, early 2000s English, both the playerbase and unit viability discussion have evolved.

Now, Marcus is considered the best and Rebecca is considered among the worst, even though the game itself has not changed a single byte. But who gets to decide who is the best and who is the worst?! What does it even mean to be the best or worst?!
