Alaya F made a smashing debut with Jawaani Jaaneman in 2020, but then the pandemic slowed down her momentum and she marked her return to the big screen after almost 3 years in the Kartik Aaryan co-starrer Freddy. She gave yet another impressive performance in the film and in this episode of Trail Blazers the actress opens up on her incredible journey with Freddy. She discusses the growth of female characters written in Bollywood and how there is still a lack of villainous roles for actresses. Alaya also sheds light on the 3 years gap she had to face between her first two films and how social media came to her rescue at the time. Interestingly, people doubted her capability as an actor before she decided to choose this profession, and Alaya shared how she overcame that. Always in a cheerful mood, Alaya discussed how she dealt with her parent’s divorce while growing up, and the privilege that comes with being Pooja Bedi’s daughter and Kabir Bedi’s granddaughter. She also lists down the trail blazing performances of 2022 according to her and how desperate she is to work with Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra and be a part of Jee Le Zaraa.
