The rs3 combat update has changed how ability damage works. This allows us to build rotations for AFK bossing that weren't possible before. In this guide I demonstrate a new method for defeating Helwyr.

Melee Setup:
Gear: Full vestments of havoc robe set (crackling 4 crystal shield 1, biting 4, absorbative 4, and impatient 4), abyssal scourge (eruptive 4 precise 3), dark sliver of leng (aftershock 4), igneous kal-ket (with strength, hitpoints, and defense cape perks), essence of finality, cinderbane gloves, champion's ring, grasping rune pouch, and vampyrism scrimshaw

Inventory: Potion reservoir, elder overload salves, deathwarden nexus (for darkness and lesser boneshield), kwuarm incense sticks, weapon poison+++, abyssal armour spikes (alloy), spring cleaner, drop placeholder

Aura: Penance
Relic: Persistent rage, fury of the smalls, conservation of energy
Prayer: Soul split, malevolence
Familiar: Blood pouncer (or another legendary pet)- can replace with hellhound or reaver for better survivability, but you will need to bring runes for prism of restoration and some super restores
