We've visited the Isles of Scilly numerous times over the years, and each trip, we tend to focus on one specific area. Since day trips only give you about four hours to explore; this time, we decided to head straight for Pelistry Beach, one of the few spots on St. Mary's we hadn't been to yet.

We opted to walk, though looking back, hiring bikes might have been a better choice. Still, it was a gorgeous day, and we didn’t mind the brisk stroll to the other side of the island.

We'll be returning in October for what will likely be one of the last times we travel on the Scillonian before it’s replaced with a newer boat.
