The Q1 numbers for Shree Cements are also out and as expected, the lockdown has shown its impact on the volume growth.

While the company has come out with stellar set of numbers, the volume decline has been extremely high and the high is in the 20s. The revenues are seen down on almost 23% yoy and EBITDA is seen down almost 17%, and the profitability is down by 31%.

Citi expects the volume to decline almost 20%. The quarter is a wash out quarter in which the volume offtake seen muted from minimal construction. However there are few factors to watch out for.
