About this Workshop Series:
The Source Water Protection Workshop Series supports communities, water providers, local governments, conservation practitioners, land managers, and funding partners in protecting Oregon's drinking water sources. To be mutually beneficial for attendees and presenters alike, presentation topics are guided by participant feedback and their region's unique drinking watershed protection needs and support systems.

Presentation topic examples:
*Community stories of drinking watershed successes and challenges overcome.
*Organization representatives sharing how they can help folks protect their drinking watersheds.
*Upcoming funding opportunities, including timelines and who to talk to for help navigating funding systems.
*Information on multiple topics that overlap with drinking watershed protection, including:
Land management plans
Land conservation
Land and watershed restoration
Community forestry
Job training opportunities
Collaborative opportunities to sustain long-term projects
Sustaining community outreach and participation

These workshops aim to build relationships and understanding of multiple techniques, support organizations, funding opportunities, and systems that help individuals and communities meet and sustain their unique drinking watershed protection needs.
