In this video I compare North American F-86 Sabre kits from Clear Prop! and Airfix. These are in 1:48 scale. These are different variants (F-86A from ClearProp and F-86F-40 from Airfix), but these are the newist Sabres in market so I think it is relevant comparison as Clear Prop! has anounced future F-86E and will probably make also other F-86F sometimes in future.

This is not review as such, I just present some areas that I see interesting in these kits. From the parts it would look like ClearProp has an edge, but there are issues in build which Airfix avoids. I make some scratchbuild to the Airfix, so the details are a bit lacking.

I don't compare the prices as these are not compatible. Clear Prop is about the double of the price of the Airfix kit. Airfix has more options, but it still needs some aftermarket, so the prices comes closer together. But as ClearProp is only A-version available you can't choose if you want that.
