Miss America Contestant Flies Fighter Jet for The 1st Time.
U.S. Air Force 2nd Lt. Madison Marsh prepares for her familiarization flight in an F-16D Fighting Falcon Fighter Jet, assigned to the 422nd Test and Evaluation Squadron, at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., Dec. 18, 2023. Marsh is a U.S. Air Force Academy graduate and reigning Miss Colorado, competing for the crown of Miss America. She was also currently working on her master’s degree from the Harvard Kennedy School through the Air Force Institute of Technology’s Civilian Institution Programs.
