James Dunmore, Allishas boyfriend is now a person of interest in her missing case.

The warrant tied to last week’s search of a northeast Charlotte home in connection with the disappearance of Allisha Watts states investigators were looking for evidence of murder.

Watts, who is from Moore County, was last seen July 16 at the Pamela Lorraine Drive home of her boyfriend, according to the search warrant.

A report was filed on July 20, 2023, detailing how troopers found Watts’ boyfriend passed out inside.
The report does identify her boyfriend by name, and it says he has a history of domestic violence.
It also says he is considered a person of interest.

A report also stated that a woman came into the Anson County Sheriff’s Office trying to get things out of the Mercedes.

There was also information that police recovered a 9mm shell casing at Dunmore's residence on July 20, 2023.
