Why are there so many cat murals in Kuching, Malaysia? 🐱

Today is our last day in Sarawak, and we’re on a mission to explore the story behind the “City of Cats” and find as many murals as we can!

We start the morning with a little walking tour through Kuching’s colourful streets, spot some pretty cool street art, pick up random rice cracker snacks from a local mini market, and grab a final iced coffee from a hidden café before our flight ✈️
…only to get totally trapped in a tropical thunderstorm ⛈️

Even though we didn’t solve every mystery about Kuching’s cat history, it was such a fun and artistic farewell to a city we totally fell in love with. 💛
