We said yes to a last-minute boat trip — from Jacksonville, FL to Charleston, SC — to help my brother move his boat. Along for the ride: a dog, a cat (Suki, the real captain), and a dramatic dinghy.
From anchor life in Jekyll Island to marinas in Savannah and Charleston, we navigated sunrises, sunsets, bugs, the Intracoastal Waterway and the ocean waves. The dolphins loved the boat's wake, we slept on the flybridge and we filmed it all.
This isn’t a sailing fantasy. It’s boat life.
