Jaisalmer News: A major twist has emerged in the Durgapur case as police ruled out gangrape allegations after reviewing CCTV footage. The 23-year-old classmate of the medical student, who had alleged gangrape near her college campus, has been arrested.

Police say the footage and medical evidence contradict the survivor’s earlier statements, showing both leaving and returning to campus together. Investigators found several inconsistencies in the accounts given by the survivor, her friend, and the accused. Authorities now believe only one person was involved, dismissing the earlier claims of a gangrape.
