Today I'm telling you why you need to stop shopping at Amazon. Living zero waste is important to me, but reducing harm on the world around me is even more important. Not only does Amazon have a lot of plastic and packaging waste, but it also emits a lot of greenhouse gas. The company also provides unsafe worker conditions and also greatly harms people who don't even work for them! Today I'm diving deeper into all of those issues. With Amazon, you can get nearly everything at the touch of a button, but there's a dark side to the company that I just don't find worth it. I can't, in good conscience, live a low-waste, plastic-free life at home, and support a company like Amazon at the same time.

Not everyone can quit Amazon due to different levels of accessibility, but if you can, I really recommend it. I've shared a lot of sustainable swaps and ethical companies, so please look through my other videos and check those alternatives out! Lots of WOC- and Black-owned businesses!
