In light of the incredible media coverage of Indiana's constitutional marriage amendment, the Maurer School of Law's ACS Chapter and co-sponsors hosted Evan Wolfson, the Founder and President of Freedom to Marry, to speak about HJR-3, Indiana, and marriage equality. Evan Wolfson was introduced by Provost Lauren Robel, who provided Indiana University's stance on the marriage amendment and it's impact on the university and the state as whole. Evan has been a leading voice in the fight to win marriage for all individuals. In his capacity as President of Freedom to Marry, Evan has delivered many speeches, debated several opponents of marriage equality, and written a book on the importance of why marriage matters. Evan Wolfson is considered an expert on the matter brought an incredible level of experience to his speech.
