EPIC MOTOR! Otis Series 2 Traction Elevator At The Wells Fargo Building, Savannah, GA

I do apologize for my take here being shaky and rushed. I did stabilize the video, but we all know that doesn't always improve the video by much. This was just a quick stop as my Uncle Needed to get some money, and I just took 1 quick ride as the elevator is behind a glass corridor right by the desk!!!!!! There were many caemras as well, when I left, a staff member saw me, but she was thankfully very nice!!!! Anyways, this elevator is just a Basic Modded Otis Series 2. But a NICE ONE. Yes the cab is basic, but you can probably tell this was originally an Otis Black Button. Yes, the cab interior, the fixtures, the controller and call buttons were modded sometime in the 2000s, but while it's modernized, the Motor is ORIGINAL from the 1940s or 1950s when this elevator was installed, And it has an EPIC Start and stop sound!!!!! The door operator sounds original too. Yes while this may have had some work done to it, it still is a Vintage Otis at heart. With that being said, enjoy the video!!!

Installed: Circa 1940s or 1950s (Otis Black Button)

Modernized: Circa 2000s (Otis Series 2 Red fixtures, cab and controller upgrades. Motor is original though!!! :D)
