If you're curious, here's what happens at the end of Windbound, just after the final boss fight. Kara ends up at the crossing, revealing the 5th mural and jumps back on her raft. We traverse the same waterway as before, but this time it's a little more rocky and wavy with that giant crusted tentacle thing trying to swing at us. He's very slow though, so there's no real danger of dying. We then find ourselves eye to eye with a giant crobster type being. Bit of a surreal ending, but Kara is re-united with the fleet and we see the credits roll.

I thought I'd include it all here, together with the age old question "can we continue our game": a new option New Game+ appears, which lets us keep all our belongings and raft, but we start again from Chapter 1. All islands will regenerate, so it's a whole new experience. If you're game, head over to Settings and change the game type from Adventurer to Survivalist (enemies are tougher, you'll lose all non-held items when you die and you'll start back from Chapter 1 every time).
