GL-iNet Flint 2 - USB 3.0 Network Attach Storage (NAS) Throughput Test

Описание к видео GL-iNet Flint 2 - USB 3.0 Network Attach Storage (NAS) Throughput Test

In this video, we are going to test out the GL-iNet Flint 2 USB Network Attach Storage throughput with Samba 4 and CrystalDiskMark. At the time of making this video, the router runs GL-iNet stock firmware V4.6.2.
The GL-iNet Flint 2 (GL-MT6000) has a USB 3.0 port. This is perfect for Network File Sharing or adding LTE/5G connectivity. Some of you have requested to test the throughput/speed of the network drive, so, here it is.
For this test, I used the KIOXIA 128GB M.2 2230 PCIe NVMe, model KBG40ZNS128G and the ORICO Dual NVMe/SATA Dual Protocol SSD Enclosure    • ORICO M.2 NVME/SATA Dual Protocol SSD...  . The device supports 10Gbps, but due to the limitation of both my PC's USB ports, and the NVMe SSD, the benchmark on PC is not really high.

Video timeframe:
00:00 - Intro
00:31 - Hardware Overview / Test Setup
01:02 - NVMe SSD Benchmark on Windows PC with CrystalDiskMark
02:00 - Configure Network Storage on GL-iNet Flint 2
02:22 - Map the network drive on Windows Explore
02:39 - Flint 2 USB NAS benchmark/speedtest - NTFS format
03:35 - Change the format to EXT4
04:05 - Flint 2 USB NAS benchmark/speedtest - EXT4 format
