Welcome to my Let's Play of Alan Wake 2. This is the sequel to the original cult classic from 2010. I can not tell you how excited I am that I finally get to play this game. I have waited 13 agonizingly long years for the sequel. I honestly thought it was never gonna happen, until Control gave us the Alan Wake DLC and that filled me with hope. Four years later and the wait is finally over. In this playthrough, you can expect a lot of annoying nostalgic reminiscing, hilarious jumpscares and a combat prowess even your Gran would shake her head at.

Glesgeek's History With Alan Wake.
"Ever since Playstation’s inception, in 1995, I have always been a fanboy. However, in Christmas 2012, I received an unexpected gift, which I didn’t want or ask for. Someone had bought me an Xbox 360. I was pleasantly surprised and used this as an opportunity to dip my toe in the enemy’s pool, so to speak. I went out and bought a bunch of pre-owned games and Alan Wake was among them. I had never heard of the game before, as it was an Xbox exclusive, but it instantly became one of my all-time favourite games, even knocking the original Final Fantasy 7 off the top spot. Everything from the story to the characters to the combat; which had a unique mechanic of using light to vanquish enemies which, at the time, blew my mind. However, the game ended on a massive cliffhanger and we had to wait 13 long years for the sequel. Now that it’s finally here, I can’t wait to delve back in and finish Alan Wake’s story.”
