Описание к видео Eye Stroke: Types, Symptoms and Treatment/ Retinal Vein Occlusion

A retinal vein occlusion can be classified as a branch retinal vein occlusion, a central retinal vein occlusion or a hemicentral retinal vein occlusion. Retinal artery occlusion can be central or branch retinal artery occlusion. These "eye strokes" often cause severe vision loss due to macular edema (a swelling of the retina), ischemia or secondary glaucoma.
