දරු ප්‍රසූතියෙන් පසු මවට puerperal psychosis තත්වය ඇතිවීම යනු
පශ්චාත් ප්‍රසව මනෝ ව්‍යාධිය (හෝ දරු ප්‍රසූතියේ මනෝ ව්‍යාධිය) යනු දරුණු මානසික රෝගයකි. එය දරුවෙකු ලැබීමෙන් පසු දින හෝ සතිවලදී හදිසියේම ආරම්භ වේ. රෝග ලක්ෂණ වෙනස් වන අතර ඉක්මනින් වෙනස් විය හැක. ඒවාට ඉහළ මනෝභාවය (උමතුව), මානසික අවපීඩනය, ව්‍යාකූලත්වය, මායාවන් සහ මායාවන් ඇතුළත් විය හැකිය.
දරු ප්‍රසූතියෙන් පසු මනෝ ව්‍යාධිය යනු දරු ප්‍රසූතියෙන් පසු කෙනෙකුට බලපාන බරපතල මානසික සෞඛ්‍ය රෝගයකි. එය දරු ප්‍රසූතියෙන් පසු මව්වරුන් 500 න් 1 කට පමණ බලපායි."බේබි බ්ලූස්" ලෙස හැඳින්වෙන දරු ප්‍රසූතියෙන් පසු දරු ප්‍රසූතිය සිදු කළ බොහෝ දෙනෙකුට මෘදු මනෝභාවයන් ඇති වේ. මෙය සාමාන්‍ය දෙයක් වන අතර සාමාන්‍යයෙන් පවතින්නේ දින කිහිපයක් පමණි. නමුත් පශ්චාත් ප්‍රසව මනෝ ව්‍යාධිය "බේබි බ්ලූස්" ට වඩා බෙහෙවින් වෙනස් ය. එය බරපතල මානසික රෝගයක් වන අතර එය වෛද්‍යමය හදිසි අවස්ථාවක් ලෙස සැලකිය යුතුය. එය සමහර විට ප්‍රසව මනෝ ව්‍යාධිය හෝ පශ්චාත් ප්‍රසව මනෝවිද්‍යාව ලෙස හැඳින්වේ.
එමනිසා පසු ප්‍රසව සමය තුළ තම ස්වාමි පුරුෂයා, නිවැසියන්, අසල්වැසියන් , ඥාතිමිත්‍රාදීන් හා ක්‍ෂේත්‍ර කාර්ය මණ්ඩලය මව හා දරුවා කෙරෙහි විශේෂ අවධානය යොමුකර මනා රැකවරණය සැපැයීම වැදගත් . රෝහලේ සිට මව නිවසට පැමිණි විගසම ප්‍රසූතිය පිළිබඳ තම ප්‍රදේශයේ පවුල් සෞඛ්‍ය සේවා නිලධාරිණිය වෙත දැනුම්දීම ඉතා වැදගත් වනු ඇත. ඇය මව හා දරුවා පිළිබඳ විමසීමෙන් මෙන් ම පරීක්‍ෂා කිරීමෙන් අසාමාන්‍ය තත්ත්ව හා සංකූලතා ඉක්මණින් හඳුනා ගැනීම මෙන් ම, ප්‍රතිකාර අවශ්‍ය නම් නිවැරැදි ස්ථානයට යොමු කිරීම හා පසු විපරම සිදුකරනු ලැබේ. එය මව හා දරුවා සෞඛ්‍ය සම්පන්නව හා ගුණාත්මක ජීවිත ගතකිරීමට අත්වැලක් වනවා නො අනුමානයි.

It starts suddenly in the days or weeks after having a baby. Symptoms vary and can change quickly. They may include elevated mood (mania), depression, confusion, hallucinations, and delusions. Postpartum psychosis is a serious mental health illness that affects someone after childbirth. It affects about 1 in 500 postpartum mothers, known as the "baby blues," and many postpartum women experience mild mood swings. This is normal and usually only lasts a few days. But postpartum psychosis is very different from the "baby blues." It is a serious mental illness and should be treated as a medical emergency. It is sometimes called postpartum psychosis or postpartum psychosis. Therefore, during the postpartum period, it is important that the husband, residents, neighbors, relatives and field staff pay special attention to the mother and child and provide good care. As soon as the mother returns home from the hospital, it will be very important to inform her local family health service officer about the delivery. By asking and examining the mother and child, she can quickly identify abnormalities and complications, and if treatment is necessary, refer to the right place and follow-up.
