Sacha Boisvert & Matvei Gridin RAW Highlights (Muskegon Lumberjacks vs Lincoln Stars 1.28.2024)

This footage is 3 minutes plus of Sacha Boisvert, Matvei Gridin, Joe Connor, Easton Young and the rest of the USHL's Muskegon Lumberjacks RAW talent from an uncut moment in the game I recorded at the end of January. This small snippet shows how amazing and talented these kids can be.

Boisvert has just scored a goal when this footage has started, evident by the game announcer making the call as this footage begins. During these few minutes after, Boisvert handles the puck well while gliding effortlessly on the ice, also making a BIG HIT against a smaller opponent (shouldn't have messed around and found out, you know?).
Gridin is seen throughout the footage carrying the puck from time to time (he was announced to have assisted on Boisvert's unseen goal from prior to recording as well), but Gridin's greatest accomplishment in this footage is towards the end when he gets the puck from Easton Young (#5), he takes it like hes going around the other side of the net, but instead Gridin takes a shot on goal from nearly all the way behind the goal, and he proceeds to hit the goalie in the back with the puck, which then caused the puck to go in the net.
Matvei Gridin literally just scored a goal off the back of a goalie. AMAZING!!

Matvei Gridin has quickly established himself as one of the better players in the USHL, and a FAN FAVORITE in Muskegon. We will surely be sad to see him go (not to mention Boisvert as well). The 2023-24 Muskegon Lumberjacks surely have a place in the hearts of the fans of this league, not just the city of Muskegon or state of Michigan. These guys are stars in the making...and their time is NEAR.
