US tourism generates $1.9 trillions in revenue for 2023 with over 66 millions visitors and 9.5 millions of people working in this sector and represents 2.9% of GDP. Three reasons that tourists like to visit US: vibrant cities such as Las Vegas, LA, New York, Washington DC, and Chicago... Beautiful and huge national parks, and multicultural societies and arts. For Cambodia is in 36th place not bad compared to over 200 countries in the world. In 2023, Cambodia received 5.4 millions tourists. Cambodia tourism represents 18% of GDP, however Cambodia is struggling to compete with Vietnam and Thailand for this sector due to poor infrastructure and services and high cost.
