Welcome to Project Encore—our name for Universal Orlando’s brand-new roller coaster project, replacing Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit at Universal Studios Florida. Until Universal announces the official name, we’ll be tracking its progress here under the Project Encore banner.

We are back after a long holiday break and new year! Universal has not stopped progress on their new project though. MANY new footers can be seen near Hard Rock. It seems like this will be the main location for the majority of the experience. Following the footers, we definitely have a section that will feature a swing launch, and spike near the CityWalk lagoon.

Along with all these new footers, there is working being done on an electrical building in the center of the "Bowl" area. Or in-field. We are experience to see what kind of theming will be built in this area, as the project progresses. '

Also BIG news from Universal, as the announcement of this highly anticipated roller coaster is expected tomorrow! Yes, tomorrow! Discuss in the comments what you think it will be! Will we see a full rendering? Or just the theme be announced?
